Booking

How do I book a stay with ElectriStay?

Booking with ElectriStay is easy! Simply browse our available properties on the Locations page, select your desired accommodation, and follow the booking process. You can filter properties by location, price range, and specific EV charging requirements. We recommend booking in advance to ensure both accommodation and charging availability, especially during peak travel seasons.

Is there a minimum stay requirement?

Minimum stay requirements vary by property and season. Most of our urban locations require a minimum of 1-2 nights, while our resort properties may require 2-3 nights, especially during peak seasons. Extended stay discounts are available for bookings of 7+ nights. You can find specific minimum stay information on each property's listing page.

Can I make changes to my booking?

Yes, you can modify your booking up to 48 hours before your scheduled arrival, subject to availability. Changes can be made through your ElectriStay account or by contacting our customer service team. Please note that changes to dates may result in rate adjustments based on seasonal pricing. For changes to EV charging requirements, we recommend notifying us as soon as possible to ensure availability.

EV Charging

What types of EV charging stations are available?

All ElectriStay properties feature a mix of charging options. Most locations offer Level 2 (240V) charging stations compatible with all electric vehicles. Select premium properties also feature DC fast charging capabilities. We have dedicated Tesla connectors as well as universal J1772 connectors. Each property listing specifies the exact charging options available, including the number of stations and power output ratings.

How do I reserve EV charging during my stay?

EV charging is automatically included with your stay. During the booking process, you'll be prompted to specify your vehicle type and preferred charging schedule. Our AI-powered system optimizes charging time based on electricity rates and grid demand. You can also schedule charging sessions through our mobile app during your stay. For properties with limited charging stations, our smart scheduling system ensures fair access for all guests.

Are there additional fees for using the EV charging stations?

Basic Level 2 charging is included in your stay at no additional cost, with reasonable usage limits (typically up to 50kWh per day). DC fast charging, where available, may incur a nominal fee to cover the higher electricity costs. Our solar-powered properties offer unlimited free charging. All charging costs are transparently displayed during booking and can be added directly to your room bill for convenience.

Amenities

What amenities are included in ElectriStay accommodations?

All ElectriStay properties feature high-speed Wi-Fi, premium bedding, and modern appliances. Most properties also include smart home features controllable through our app, workspace areas, and streaming entertainment systems. Premium properties may include additional amenities such as fitness centers, pools, and spa facilities. EV-specific amenities include charging status monitors, trip planning tools, and complementary charging cable adapters if needed.

Are linens and towels provided?

Yes, all ElectriStay accommodations include high-quality linens, towels, and basic toiletries. We use eco-friendly, sustainably sourced products aligned with our commitment to environmental responsibility. For extended stays (7+ nights), a complementary mid-stay cleaning service with fresh linens is provided. Additional housekeeping services can be arranged for an extra fee.

Payment

What forms of payment do you accept?

We accept all major credit and debit cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover), PayPal, Apple Pay, Google Pay, and select cryptocurrencies. Corporate bookings can be arranged with invoicing options. For international guests, we support currency conversion at market exchange rates with no additional fees.

When is payment due?

For standard bookings, a 25% deposit is required at the time of reservation, with the remaining balance due 7 days before arrival. For bookings made within 7 days of arrival, full payment is required at the time of booking. Premium properties and peak season reservations may require 50% deposit. Security deposits, where applicable, are pre-authorized at check-in and released within 48 hours of checkout, assuming no damages.

Cancellation policy

What is your cancellation policy?

Our standard cancellation policy allows free cancellation up to 7 days before arrival for a full refund. Cancellations made 3-7 days prior to arrival receive a 50% refund of the deposit. Cancellations within 3 days of arrival are non-refundable. Premium properties and peak season bookings may have stricter cancellation terms. We offer cancellation protection plans that provide more flexibility for an additional fee.

What happens if I need to cancel my reservation?

If you need to cancel, you can do so through your ElectriStay account or by contacting our customer service team. Refunds are processed using the original payment method within 5-7 business days. For special circumstances (such as illness, severe weather, or vehicle breakdown), we offer case-by-case flexibility with proper documentation. We also encourage rescheduling rather than cancellation when possible.

General

Are pets allowed at ElectriStay properties?

Pet policies vary by property. Many of our properties are pet-friendly and welcome well-behaved dogs (usually up to 2 per booking). A pet fee typically applies, ranging from $25-50 per pet per stay. Service animals are always welcome at no additional charge. Each property listing clearly indicates its pet policy. We recommend notifying us in advance if you're traveling with pets so we can ensure you're placed in a suitable room or unit.

Is smoking allowed in the accommodations?

All ElectriStay properties are strictly non-smoking indoors, including e-cigarettes and vaping devices. Designated outdoor smoking areas are available at most properties. A cleaning fee of $250 will be charged for violations of our non-smoking policy. This policy helps us maintain air quality for all guests and aligns with our environmental commitments.

Do you offer discounts for longer stays?

Yes, we offer tiered discounts for extended stays: 10% off for stays of 7-13 nights, 15% off for 14-29 nights, and 25% off for 30+ nights. These discounts apply automatically during booking. Corporate and long-term relocation packages are also available with additional benefits, including priority charging slots, enhanced cleaning services, and flexible payment options.
